Easy Hanging Towel Kitchen Sewing Pattern

The kitchen is really the hub of home.  It is the first room you walk into from the garage.  It is connected to the living room.  It is filled with not only yummy food, but the comfort that only Mom's cooking can bring.

In our home, my kids tend to walk through the kitchen numerous time during the day.  And many of those times they are wiping their hands, drying their toys or wiping up a spill.

Which is why I LOVE this hanging kitchen towel sewing pattern.  It keeps my towel locked in place and it doesn't end up on the floor cleaning up every spill.

This is a quick and easy project that doesn’t require any special skills. Plus, the finished product looks great and adds a touch of rustic charm to your kitchen.

Step 4

Fold your towel in thirds. Use pins to mark placement lines for where you will stitch the ties. The lines should be on the back of the towel in the center panel. You want the ties to be about 3-4" from the center of a folded towel.

Open up the towel.

Step 5

Find the middle of your ties. Pin the middle of the ties to the center panel of your towel where you marked with your pins.

You will only sew the ties to the center panel.
